Now, with his father missing, Willy clings to those stories, searching for clues, looking for a way back to the one person who made him feel understood.

Andy - Male, Afro-Domincan/Latino, 8-13 years old. The younger fraternal twin. Carl - Male, 13 Years Old, Open Ethnicity. Carl sits at the bottom of his friend group’s unspoken heirarchy. Smaller and quieter than the others, he rarely speaks up and goes along with the rough games - even when they go against his moral and his will. While he plays the obedient friend on the surface, he envies Noah’s power over everyone and hates himself for obeying it. Every cruel prank and humiliating dare plants another seed of bitterness, and Carl secretly dreams of the moment her can turn the tables and humiliate Noah.

Noah - Male, 13 Years Old, Open Ethnicity. Noah is the leader of the friend group. He commands with confidence, charisma and physical dominance. He sets the rules, pushes boundaries and challenges his friends, testing how far they’ll follow him. He thrives on attention, control and the thrill of influence. Beneath his bold exterior lies a boy defined by the reactions of those around him; his power is only meaningful because the group enables it. Noah relishes being the one everyone looks to, imitates or competes with.

Marcus - Male, 13 Years Old, Open Ethnicity. Marcus isn’t interested in power, instead earning his place in the friend group through humor and self deprication. His laughter smooths over tension, masking discomfort when things get cruel. He’s independent enough to avoid direct conflict, but his need for acceptance keeps him tethered to the groups’ toxic orbit.

Freddy- Male, 13 Years Old, Open Ethnicity. Freddy is Noah’s most loyal follower - his unquestioning right hand. Freddy is the one who nods, laughs and backs Noah in his every move, even when it crosses the line. Freddy’s loyalty gives Noah legitimacy, as he echoes his behvaior and defends him from criticism.

Ava & Chlore - Female, 13 Years Old, Open Ethnicity. Ava and Chloe are inseparable, sharing a bond deeper and more grounded than any of the boys. They see through and often mock the boys’ brava - though they secretly find some if it intriguing. They tease and challenge the boys while remaining playful and flirtatious.
